After working in both academia and industry, Dr. Bajaria has been working as an independent consultant since 2011. While she has been trained as a computational biologist, she has embraced writing and communication as a focus in recent work. Her interests lie in the intersection between writing, science, engineering and technology, rooted in the belief that effectively sharing your research and technology is essential to advancement in your personal career as well as impact worldwide, and that telling a compelling story is key to engaging readers and inspiring action. Dr. Bajaria has written about everything from the mathematical modeling of HIV to the intersection of architecture and structural engineering and continues to expand her portfolio within narrative and biography. With a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, she continues to expand her knowledge base through online courses and seminars. Dr. Bajaria lives in downtown NYC with her husband and three children.
